Instead of plain yogurt or frozen yogurt which are both prepared with milk experiment with soy-based frozen yogurt. Doing so will make it possible for you to whip up a nutritious as well as tasty non dairy smoothie that you will want to make time and time again! This recipe makes two smoothies.

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1- ½ cup soy-based frozen yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 3 peeled kiwis
  • 4- 6 ice cubes

Add all ingredients into your blender and blend until the consistency is a little bit chunky. This non dairy smoothie recipe is not meant to be as smooth in its consistency as many smoothie recipes are. This recipe makes two smoothies.

Fruity and Fabulous

When you mix and match your smoothies with fruit and fruit juice this takes away the need to even concern yourself with dairy ingredients for your smoothies. You will quickly discover that fruit combinations are every bit as tasty and appealing. Here is a non dairy recipe that is as nutritious as it is fruity and fabulous!

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 2 frozen and sliced bananas

Combine all ingredents in your blender and puree until the mixture is smooth. This recipe makes two servings. If you would like to try a different flavor then substitute the strawberries for another fruit such as blueberries, kiwi fruits or peaches.

Triple Berry Delight

Berries are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. When you include berries in your non dairy smoothie recipes you provide your body with much of the goodness that it needs to work well and to be healthy. Here is a smoothie recipe that includes three types of berries.

  • 1 cup cranberry juice (100 percent pure juice is best)
  • 1-1/2 cup soy-based frozen yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 5-6 small ice cubes

Place all ingredients into the blender. Puree the mixture until only a few chunks are left visible in the blender. To enhance the overall flavor of the berries you may wish to garnish the smoothie with mint leaves.

This recipe makes two delicious berry drinks.
