Juicing Recipes to Boost the Immune System

The body’s immune system is critical to good health.  Although most people know that a strong immune system means the body is better equipped to fight disease but most do not fully understand how vital a healthy immune system is.  The truth is that the immune system is what keeps many vital organs health so maintaining a strong system such as this is one of the keys to overall good health.  Within the immune system are numerous interdependent types of cells, each working to keep the body protected from various infections to include fungal, viral, bacterial, and parasitic, as well as growth of tumors.

•    Two medium beets
•    Two red apples (cored, seeds removed, and skin left on)
•    One navel orange (with or without the skin)
•    Two cloves of fresh garlic
•    One-half teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)

This juicing recipe to boost the immune system is delicious as is or served on ice.

Juicing Recipe – Two

•    One red apple (cored, seeds removed, and skin left on)
•    Three carrots
•    One celery stalk
•    One-half cucumber (skin left on)
•    One-half beet (use attached greens and leave skin on)
•    One-quarter cup fresh parsley
•    One-quarter cup fresh wheatgrass

The ingredients for this juicing recipe to boost the immune system would produce  eight to ten-ounces so if you wanted to make more to store in the refrigerator, simply adjust the quantity.
