As the year begins to wrap up, holiday parties start to spring up to celebrate the occasion. With holiday parties comes holiday party drinks, including old favorites such as the screwdriver. Some of us who are part of the health-conscious juicing crowd may cringe at the thought of all those empty calories that accompany the drinks. Luckily for us, there is a myriad of holiday party juice recipes available that call for your trusty juicer. These recipes will add a fun twist to your party and have the added benefit of helping prevent hangovers thanks to all the nutrients from the vegetables; all you have to do is add your favorite liquor. Let’s take a look at the recipes:

Kale Pineapple Screwdriver

  • 5 kale leaves
  • Half a pineapple, no skin
  • Two whole oranges, no skin
  • 4 celery stalks

This twist on an old favorite tastes even better than your standard vodka and orange juice mixture. The kale in this recipe does an excellent job at staving off hangovers with its high amounts of antioxidants. Makes 2 servings.

Cinnamon Apple Punch

  • 2 whole apple
  • 1 whole apricot
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup of spinach

Nothing feels more like Christmas than this recipe. The fusion of fresh apples and ground cinnamon has a distinct holiday feel to them. This recipe goes best with a nice whiskey. Makes 2 servings.

Red Hawaiian

  • 1 cup of cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 of a pineapple, no skin
  • 1 medium sized coconut, shaved
  • 3 beet roots
  • 4 celery stalks

This juice is a new take on the classic blue Hawaiian drink. True to its roots, this recipe calls for fresh coconut and pineapples. The deep red hue comes from the cherries and beets, which make for a delicious cocktail mixer. Makes 2 servings.

Bloody Mary

  • 2 whole tomatoes
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 1 jalapeno with seeds removed
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • dash of salt and pepper to taste

The Bloody Mary continues to be a long-time favorite of many, and for good reason. This version of the Bloody Mary is the best we’ve found due to the freshness of its ingredients. If you’re not too fond of spicy drinks, we recommend not adding a jalapeno. Makes 2 servings.

Strawberry Daiquiri

  • 2 cups of strawberries
  • 1 apple
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 beet root

A perfect drink for those of us who love fruity drinks. This drink can be served over ice, or can be thrown in a blender with ice for a frozen treat. Makes 1 serving.
