If you are one of those people who are not sure whether it is to your liking or not then you can combine it with other ingredients to dilute the flavor somewhat. Experimenting is important when you first try wheatgrass. Mix it in with other vegetables or fruits and see if your palate prefers that.

To make these juices you need the fresh whole fruits and vegetables that the recipe indicates. You also need the wheatgrass crop which is measured in inch rounds and you need your juicer. If you wish to make smoothies with wheatgrass then you will require a blender or a food processor. Whereas makes an excellent additional to practically any smoothie recipe.

Green Juice

Ingredients:

3 stalks celery

2 medium cucumbers

5 fresh spinach leaves

½ cup fresh parsley

3-inch round wheatgrass

water as  required

Cut up the celery and the cucumbers into chunks small enough to fit through your juicer. Juice and dilute with water as required for texture and/or taste.

Wheatgrass Whirl

Ingredients:

2 oranges

1 banana

½ cup fresh berries

2-inch round wheatgrass

1-2 cups ice cubes

Juice the orange and the wheatgrass, then combine with all other ingredients. Blend and process until the texture reaches the thick smoothie state.
