Morning Start Me Up

(One serving about 8 ounces)

1 (1 inch thick) pineapple round (preferably organic)

1 orange

If you do not buy an organic pineapple then you need to remove the skin and then get rid of it. Cut the pineapple round into strips. Peel the orange next, leaving on as much of the white pith as possible. Break the orange into segments. Place all of the fruit into the juicing machine.

Morning Sunshine

(One serving about 8 ounces)

1 (1 inch think) pineapple round

½ pink grapefruit

If you buy an organic pineapple then you are good to go. If it is not organic then remove the skin. Cut the pineapple into strips. Peel the grapefruit, leaving as much white pith intact as possible. Break up the grapefruit into pieces and then place both types of fruits into your juicer.

Morning Glory (Apple/Pear and Ginger Juice)

Not only is this natural raw juice a great way to begin a new day but it is also an excellent way to keep you regular. The high pectin content can help to lower your cholesterol levels.

(One serving)

3 medium apples

3 large pears

1 inch piece of fresh ginger

It is preferable to purchase apples and pears that are organic. The same can be said for ginger. Think organic produce.

Wash the apples and pears and then cut them into 2 inch slices. Leave the peels on the apples and the pears because the skins on them are rich in antioxidants and flavonoids. You may notice a cloudy consistency to the juice but you will be so busy enjoying the nutritional side of it and the taste that you will probably hardly notice it!

Slice up the apple and pear into pieces and slice up or shred the ginger. Place all ingredients into the juicer. Your day is now off to a great start!
