Juicing Your Voice Back to Normal – Laryngitis

If you are used to making homemade V8 juice recipe for your juicer or you are used to mean green juice recipes made with a juicer or blender then trying out some new recipes to help to cure your laryngitis should not be a difficult task at all!

Practically any fruit can work well for laryngitis. If you have a favorite recipe for V8 juice, a green juice recipe or a blender juice recipe then try it and see if it makes your throat feel better. Lemon juice (as previously mentioned) is helpful for this health condition as is carrot juice. The herbs that work well with natural juicing for laryngitis include garlic, ginger, sage and thyme.

Try these recipes and start feeling better right away:

Recipe #1

  • 3 carrots
  • 2 apricots
  • a quarter of a cantaloupe

Recipe #2

  • 2 oranges
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 lime
  • ½ cup of cranberries

Make sure that you peel the citrus fruits before juicing them. If you like add 1 tbsp. of honey for a soothing effect.

Fresh pineapple juice is helpful for relieving the symptoms of laryngitis. Mix it with other fruits or even with celery for tasty fresh natural drinks. Also a little ginger combined with any juice is good for laryngitis. Ginger though should never be drank straighten up and should ALWAYS be combined with other ingredients.

Recipe # 3

  • 5 carrots
  • ½ apple
  • ½ inch knob of gingerroot
  • handful of parsley

Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Slice the apple into narrow wedges. Slice the gingerroot if required. Process all of the ingredients in the juicer.

This recipe is beneficial for colds and nausea and also contributes to smooth, elastic skin. Also gives energy levels a much needed boost!

  • 5 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • ½ inch knob of gingerroot
  • Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Cut the apple into narrow wedges. Slice the gingerroot, if necessary. Place all of the ingredients into the juicer and juice away!
