Juicing to Help Anxiety and Depression

Other estimates in past years have estimated that the range is as high as 35 to 40 million. While occasional bouts of depression are normal if you find that your depression has gotten so severe that it interferes with your day to day life then it is time to seek professional help.

Celery Pleaser Juice
- (makes approximately 12 ounces)
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 grapefruit
- ½ cup parsley
- 1 tsp olive oil
Apple Chase Away Depression Juice
(makes approximately 12 ounces)
- 1 apple
- 3 carrots
- tbsp. of flax oil
Down with Depression Drink
(makes approximately 1 ¼ cups)
- 4 broccoli spears
- ½ cup spinach leaves
- 3 Swiss chard leaves
- ½ bell pepper
Juice all vegetables except the bell pepper. Juice the bell pepper last.
(One serving approximately 8 ounces)
This juice is energizing at the same time as it is calming. It offers a nutritional means of relaxing your nerves when they are in a jangled mess!
- 4 to 5 carrots
- 1 (4 inch) wedge of green cabbage
- Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces.
- Slice the cabbage into narrow wedges.
- Place the cabbage and the carrots into the juicing processor.
