While you may enjoy the taste of alcoholic beverages at the time that you are downing them they cause the buildup of toxins in the blood and they also dehydrate you (thus the dry mouth). What you need to do the morning after is to make your own natural juices to provide your body with a steady stream of healthy ingredients. You need vitamins, minerals and lots of antioxidants.

Blood Cleaner

(One serving about 8 ounces)

Drink this juice to clean out your blood.

5 carrots

6 spinach leaves

4 lettuce leaves

¼ turnip

4 sprigs of parsley

Trim the carrots and slice them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Place all of the veggies into the juicing machine and prepare your juice.

CCA Juice (Carrot/Cabbage/Apple Juice)

(One serving about 8 ounces)

Cabbage can calm a stomach that is feeling a little queasy when you wake up the morning after drinking too much alcohol.  Drinking cabbage juice on its own may have the reverse effect so you need to mix it with other ingredients to give it a milder taste. Carrots and apples mixed with cabbage are the best bet for a hangover juice.

5 carrots

1 (3 inch) wedge of green cabbage

1/2 apple

Trim the carrots and slice them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Slice the apple and the cabbage into narrow wedges. Place the carrots and the cabbage into the juicer followed by the apple wedges.

Apple Strawberry Feel Better Juice

(One serving about 8 ounces)

This juice is colorful, tasty and sweet which makes it an appropriate choice following a night of too much drinking!

3 sweet apples (Golden Delicious is best)

8 strawberries

Slice the apples into narrow wedges. Place all of the fruit into the juicing processor and you are on your way to being less hung over!
