Great Juice Recipes To Get Your Morning Started

Many of us are not morning people. We tend to sleep as long as we can before we have to get up and get ready for the day. Many days, we don’t even stop to eat breakfast, subsisting on coffee or tea until it is time for us to take a break for lunch. This lack of nutrition in the morning makes our bodies sluggish and our minds slow because we have not put anything into our bodies to give us energy. Consuming energizing fresh juices in the morning can reverse these problems and help us have a much better day.

Creating fresh juice in the morning takes about the same amount of time as making a pot of coffee. To save even more time, prepare the ingredients that you need the night before so all you have to do in the morning is run the items through your juicer. After a few days of drinking juice in the morning, you will find that you feel more awake, have more energy, and feel more prepared to take on the day.

Here are a couple simple juice recipes that are great for getting your day started.

Cantaloupe Ginger Juice Recipe


1 cantaloupe
1-2 Tbsp of raw ginger, peeled


Quarter cantalope and remove rind and seeds. Cut fruit into chunks that will fit into your juicer. Juice fruit along with ginger to get all of the ginger through the juicer. Shake or stir and serve over ice.

Vibrant Ginger Green Tonic


2 lemons, peeled
2 Tbsp ginger, peeled
5 large stalks of celery
pinch of sea salt
1 small green apple


Gather your ingredients. Juice the lemon and ginger separately. Place juice aside. Juice the celery and apple. Pour 1-2 parts ginger/lemon blend in each glass. Then pour 5 parts green juice. Swirl in a pinch of sea salt. Serve over ice.
