Energy Boosting Juicer Recipes – Grab Some Gusto

If you are ready to pick yourself up off of the floor (or your bed or the couch!) then get juicing with these powerhouse recipes!  Trade exhaustion for energy and exhilaration!

Energy Enhancer

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 6 carrots
  • 5 sprigs of parsley

Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Process the carrot pieces and parsley in the juicer and juice away!

Carrot/Celery Concoction

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 6 carrots
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • Handful of parsley
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Cut the celery into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Place the garlic into the juicer first and then introduce the remainder of the vegetables.

Bring it On Juice

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 3 carrots
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 1 apple
  • ½ beet with the greens
  • ½ handful of wheatgrass
  • ½ handful of parsley

Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Cut the celery into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Cut the apple and beet into narrow wedges. Place a few carrot and celery pieces into the juicing machine first then add the other ingredients and then end with the last of the carrot and celery pieces.

High-Po Drink

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 4 carrots
  • 1 to 2 stalks of asparagus
  • 1 stalk of celery

Trim and cut the carrots, the asparagus and the celery into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Place all of the vegetables into the juicer and then enjoy your drink.

This drink is called the High-Po drink because it is high in its potassium content. Potassium is a mineral required to give energy levels a boost. This carrot-asparagus-celery juicer can be enjoyed as a meal replacement on a day when you are short on time or it works as a pick-me-up in the afternoon when your energy and concentration levels may be ebbing a bit.

The amount of energy you have is be affected by your nutrition but it is also affected by stress levels, exercise and the amount of sleep you get. Practice all healthy habits including getting enough physical activity every day and getting enough sleep at night. If you live with a lot of stress then find ways to help lessen it so it will not adversely affect your life.
