Ease A Migraine Headache With These Natural Juice Recipes

Coping with migraine headaches can be very difficult. Migraine headaches are caused by abnormal brain activity triggered by changes that affect the blood flow in the brain. These triggers may include exercise or other physical stress, loud noises or bright lights, changes in hormone levels, smoking or exposure to smoke, and changes in sleep patterns, among others. Some people have migraine headaches that are triggered by certain types of foods or food ingredients. This is a good reason to use natural remedies to ease your symptoms.

Pain in the head is typically not the only symptom that appears with a migraine headache. Sufferers may also experience changes in vision, sensitivity to light, dizziness, nausea, or vomiting. Some of the symptoms may linger, even after the migraine goes away. Treating these symptoms can be just as important as treating the pain of the headache.

There are a number of foods that can be used as natural remedies to ease migraine headaches. The capsaicin in bell peppers and cayenne pepper is effective at eliminating headaches and migraines as it blocks the transmission of pain. The high content of potassium and phosphorous in tomatoes helps relieve the symptoms of stress, tiredness, and fatigue. The high calcium content of celery calms the nerves.

These juice recipes are natural ways to ease a migraine headache and its accompanying symptoms.
