Bone Building Juice Recipes for Osteoporosis

Bones that are brittle and weak can lead to injuries and damage whereas strong bones that are helped along by good nutrition can be yours for a lifetime if you do everything you can to take care of your health.

Vegetable juices are particularly beneficial for those who suffer from osteoporosis. If you do not eat carrots often then start juicing them to get more of them into your system. You need as much calcium as possible through the veggies you juice so make broccoli and/or kale your juicing companions.

Juicer Recipes for Osteoporosis 

Take care of your bones and/or stop the progression of osteoporosis by juicing these recipes often. Strong bones are essential to overall good health and you can have them if you take the right nutritional steps!

Bone Enhancing Beverage

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 5 to 6 carrots
  • 4 kale leaves
  • 4 sprigs of parsley
  • ½ apple

Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Slice the apple into narrow wedges. Place all veggies as well as the apple wedges into the juicing machine.

Broccoli Bear

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 4 carrots
  • 3 to 4 broccoli florets with stems
  • ½ apple

Trim the carrots and cut them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Slice up the broccoli florets and stems into strips to make them smaller. Slice the apple into narrow wedges. Place all veggies and the apple wedges into the juicing processor.

Green Goblin

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 4 carrots
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • Handful of spinach
  • Handful of parsley

Trim the carrots and slice them into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Cut the celery into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Process the veggies in the juicing machine. If you are looking for the power of calcium this drink delivers!

Tangerine Sweet Treat

(One serving about 8 ounces)

  • 3 small or 2 medium tangerines
  • 1 (1 inch thick) pineapple round (preferably organic)
  • 1 (3 ounce) bunch of red grapes (preferably organic)

Peel the tangerines, leaving on as much white pith as possible. Cut or break the tangerines into segments. If you buy a non-organic pineapple then remove and discard the skin. Cut the round into strips.

If you do not buy organic grapes then remove the stems. Juice up all of the ingredients. This is another natural juice that is very rich in the mineral calcium which makes it an excellent choice for all those with osteoporosis and other bone issues.
