Refreshing Summer Fruit Juice Recipes

As the weather gets warm and we begin to spend more time outdoors in the sun, it is important for us to rehydrate ourselves using nutritious beverages. While juices purchased at the grocery store are more nutritious than drinking a soda, they are still full of added sugars and artificial ingredients. It is better to use your juicer to create some refreshing summer juice recipes from natural fruits. Enjoy these summer-inspired drinks for your weekend barbeques, picnics, parties or just while hanging out with friends.

Summer Crush Juice Recipe

Ingredients

2 Golden Delicious or Royal Gala apples
1 handful fresh blueberries
1 handful fresh raspberries
1 handful fresh strawberries

Directions

Cut up the apples first. Place one apple in the chute of the juicer. Follow it with the berries and then the second apple. Juice all ingredients, pour over ice and enjoy!

Sparkling Pineapple-Mint Juice Recipe

Ingredients

1 fresh pineapple, peeled and chopped (save a few slices to garnish if desired)
1/4 cup (one small handful) fresh mint
A few teaspoons of honey (optional)
1 liter bottle of sparkling water or club soda
Crushed ice, to serve

Directions

Place pineapple, mint and honey in a high speed blender or food processor. Process until smooth. Pour into tall glasses, top with crushed ice. Add sparkling water or club soda to top. Serve immediately garnish with mint or pineapple slices if desired.

Citrus Sensation Juice Recipe

Ingredients

1 Red Delicious apple
1 Grapefruit
2 Peaches

Directions

Cut up the apple and peaches. Peel the grapefruit. Process all ingredients in a juicer. Shake or stir and serve over ice.
