Considering Juice Fasting? Here Are Some Things To Remember
Juice fasting has been increasing in popularity as more people begin to view it as a way of cleansing their bodies from the toxins that they encounter each day. However, there is also some fear as people newly initiated to juicing do not know how juice fasting will affect their bodies. When beginning juice fasting, there are a number of things that you should keep in mind to keep yourself energized and healthy. Remembering these major points will make your juice fasting much easier to manage.
How To View Juice Fasting
Many people make the mistake of using juice fasting as a quick fix to any health or weight issues they are currently facing. They fail to understand that once they return to their previous habits, the health issues will return as well. Juice fasting is better viewed as a gateway to changing your lifestyle for the better. After your juice fasting, find ways to work fresh juice into your everyday routine on a regular basis. After all, most juicers are too expensive to only use them for a week.
What You Should Juice
Juice fasting diets are typically comprised of recipes that incorporate a wide variety of fruits and vegetables into the mixture. The juice made with these recipes are generally thick with the pulp of the items that you juiced, which is very different from the concentrated or bottled juices that you find in the store. This juice is more nutrition than the ones available at your local grocery store because the foods have not been processed and the juice has not had all of the particles strained out of it. Here are some great juicing recipes for juice fasting:
